tufte on cancer

The forums over at Edward Tufte's site are impressive not only because of the seriousness of discussion but also because of the sheer length these discussions go on for.

This, for instance started in October 2002 and was just updated on September 3rd, 2005. Aside from that rather startling fact (a 3 year long message board thread!), the important bit is that this is actually an interesting discussion on ways of charting cancer survival rate data.
