Wanna know what geeky white guys are into on TV? Assuming the bit-torrent based TV downloading demographic is mainly white, male and above average in tech savviness, it's plausible that bit torrent seeding numbers are a reasonably good marker for what these guys like.

So pop on over to minitorrent.org, one of a bunch of bit torrent sites with lots of TV shows. Set the category to TV and sort descending by seedings and what you find out is ... White guys have a house wife fetish.

Considering two of the top 4 hits are for something called "Nerd TV" it's probably safe to say many of these bit torrenters are indeed, nerds of some sort.

It's interesting to see the breakdown though .. Unsurprisingly the superman series Smallville is in the top 10. Along with an old New York Jew, a show about breaking out of prison, a Roman period series and a pseudo political series.

I'm a bit surprised to not see The Daily Show up there but when you're competing with superman and a bunch of adulteress middle aged sex-bombs, I guess there's really only room for one self referential man of Jewish blood -- and Larry David is a tough guy to beat in that market.
